  1. Fall is awesome! We may lack the variety of deciduous trees of the SE, but we have larches. And larches are pretty cool. When were these photos taken? The trees in Missoula are mostly bare, and it is snowing today! No more colorful landscapes for next 6 months 🙁 Just various shades of white and brown.

  3. These were all taken the week before I posted this, late October. The last vestiges of fall as everything is basically gone now.

    I love larch pines. One of the great pleasures of the west.
