Separated My Shoulder

Oct 3rd 2008 — Misc — 11:36 am

As far as I can tell this is what my right shoulder resembles now ( type 3 AC separation) after landing on it trying to catch a disc on Wednesday. It hurt like hell Wed. night but thanks to ice, ibuprofen, and Oxycodone it feels much better now.

  2. Luke, thanks for the comment. It is to be noted however that sacrificing my body for the game was 100% not my intention.

  3. Ouch. Will the drugs and ice do the job, or will you need further fixing?
I know shoulders can provide long-lasting pain.

  4. Binky, it is my hope that the drugs, ice, and some homestyle physical therapy will be all that is necessary. Surgery seems unnecessary and when I broke my arm I developed a bit of a disdain for physical therapy in general.
