Devil’s Tower and the Black Hills Needles

May 17th 2007 — Climbing — 8:21 pm

I just got back from a trip to South Dakota to Kezia’s hometown of Rapid City, South Dakota. We did a little bit of horseback riding, were well taken care of by her family, and managed to get in climbing on three separate days in the very wonderful Needle formations.

It was a grand trip. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

  2. It appears that some (many?) of your pictures include narratives about the picture. I noticed this when I copied into a Word file. Why can’t I get them otherwise?

  3. Dad,

When you click on a thumbnail you get a bigger picture. The text that pops up when you put your mouse over a picture appears underneath this bigger picture as its caption.

  5. Michael, you are truly admirable. You have spent the year extraordinarily productively, we are mightily impressed!
You chose your position well, and put the location to good use. Congrats! It seems that Bozeman is a good place to be summerfallwinterspring.
Gary and I hope to get there while you are still there.
    Love, Aunt Bink
