Driving from Bozeman to Moab: White to Red

Mar 25th 2009 — Arches,Montana,Utah — 8:56 pm

Last week was Spring Break. I took a trip down to Moab, Utah. Jeff took me from Bozeman to Idaho Falls and Hilary picked me up on her way from Missoula. It was a sneaky maneuver that sped things up a bit.

We brought our bikes down there and enjoyed the bright blue sky and red desert sandstone.

  2. Wow, how beautiful! The colors are soo different … I was there over Labor Day in 2007. Did you make it to the Delicate Arch?

Kudos to the two of you for biking it! It’s definitely not flat! 🙂

  3. Biz, the checkpoint was the highlight of the drive down, that is for sure.

Robin, thanks for the comment. We drove over to delicate arch but we were really exhausted and I didn’t want to do the 10 minute walk to actually see it. I’ve seen it before though. Definitely license plate worthy.
