Fall goes by quickly in Bozeman. School has been keeping me well occupied these days, but I have managed to take a few pictures of the season on occasion.

As far as I can tell this is what my right shoulder resembles now ( type 3 AC separation) after landing on it trying to catch a disc on Wednesday. It hurt like hell Wed. night but thanks to ice, ibuprofen, and Oxycodone it feels much better now.
Bozeman Ultimate played at the Big Sky Sectionals in Missoula this weekend. We went 4-1 in pool play, losing a close game to the number 1 overall seed, the Missoula Flycoons.
Sunday we went 2-1, losing to Pyschopastique from Edmonton, Canada and beating Boise to earn a spot to go to Northwest Regionals in Corvallis, Oregon in October.

A few weekends ago Hilary’s parents and their friend Kathy came out to visit. We had a marvelous weekend in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I had driven through but never spent any time there.

It was a strange feeling looking at old and worn photo albums, taking pictures of pictures of myself as a child with a camera 20 years newer and much nicer than the cameras that were used to take the original photographs.
Modern life can be surreal at times.

I’m finally back in Bozeman, ready for school to start tomorrow.
We snuck up to Glacier for the final outing of the summer. I was in Glacier last Labor Day Weekend so it was interesting to compare the snowpack from the two years.
Saturday we had some excellent weather and did the Highline Trail from Logan Pass to The Loop, it is about 12 miles (almost all downhill though) with a mandatory 0.6 mile uphill side trail to overlook the Many Glacier area.
Here are some pictures from the drive up the western portion of the Going to the Sun Road and the start of the hike.
