We did some snowshoeing around Yellowstone yestery. It was quite interesting. A beautiful sunny day that wasn’t too cold if you kept moving, ( I think the temperature was probably right around 0 or maybe a little in the negatives).

Also, In the top left if you look under “pages” you’ll see I put some information about the class I’m going to be teaching starting this friday.

  1. Hi Michael,
Wow! The ice caused by freezing steam is really beautiful. Thanks for the very unusual and delightful pictures. I had a nice birthday but nothing so exotic. Rebecca, Scott, Eben, Heather, Dad and I had a fun dinner at Mellow Mushroom. The high was in the 60’s but we didn’t eat outside since it got a bit chillier when the sun went down. It almost seemed as if you were with us, but no one can really replace you in a conversation!

  4. I am so jealous that you can just pop over to Yellowstone! We’ve been there three times, always in summer. I really want to get to Yellowstone, Tetons, anywhere in the Rockies in the winter. Thanks for the photos, it is totally cool to see the summer places I love under a shroud of snow and ice.
