Fall is awesome! We may lack the variety of deciduous trees of the SE, but we have larches. And larches are pretty cool. When were these photos taken? The trees in Missoula are mostly bare, and it is snowing today! No more colorful landscapes for next 6 months 🙁 Just various shades of white and brown.
...in these days of conformity, of the death of individualism, of joiners and organizations, of group assertion, it is refreshing to see the crusty, intense, eccentric individualism of a Harding...Although this climb may not have been done exactly to our taste, and although we might have fretful little criticisms that envy always produces, we can better spread our energy than ripping and tearing, spend it better than denigrating the accomplishments of others. Spend it, for example, climbing. I'm just off!
